Before we introduce ourselves—our work, our inspirations, and our vision—we want you to imagine something:
You dream of having a full-grown tree outside your home. One that offers shade, cools the air, welcomes birds, and breathes out life-giving oxygen. But to reach that point, it takes 10–15 years.
The first step?
You have to plant the seed today.
At Aegle Sriphal, that’s exactly what we are doing—planting the seeds today for a greener tomorrow.
We are surrounded by plastic—from oceans to wombs.
Scientists have found plastic in ocean trenches and even microplastics in unborn infants. A plastic bottle you use today may decompose only after 500 years—outlasting multiple generations.
You may ask:
“But what about recycling?”
Yes, recycling helps, but it’s not a solution—because the amount of plastic we produce far outweighs what we recycle. We don’t just need to manage plastic—we need to replace it.
Our answer lies in our past—Jute and Bamboo, two natural, sustainable materials used for centuries.
The Chinese Bamboo Lesson 🌱
The Chinese bamboo tree stays nearly invisible for 4 years—even if you care for it diligently. But in the 5th year, it grows 80 feet in just weeks.
Why? Because it was strengthening its roots.
That’s our philosophy too: patient, invisible progress with powerful impact.
We don’t want you to change your lifestyle overnight.
We simply provide eco-friendly alternatives that seamlessly fit into your daily routine.
We revive ancient, trusted materials—jute and bamboo—and give them a modern twist for beauty, durability, and responsibility.
We believe climate action isn’t a loud protest—it’s a quiet, powerful habit. Every jute bag or bamboo brush you choose matters.
Our products are not just green—they’re also stylish and functional, so you never have to choose between sustainability and aesthetics.
“All I had was a vision and an undying will. That was enough.” — Anuragini
An alumna of NMIMS Mumbai and IIM Rohtak, Anuragini Jannumahanty had a successful corporate career with leading organizations like Uber, HUL, and Aditya Birla Capital, excelling in marketing, leadership, and project management.
But she wanted to do more than build a career—she wanted to build a better planet.
With no external funding and only a powerful vision, she founded Aegle Sriphal to replace toxic products with eco-friendly, elegant solutions. Her mission attracted early support from brands like Zoho and HDFC, and she went on to establish one of the most innovative and purpose-driven sustainable startups in India.
Anuragini’s vision is simple, bold, and inclusive:
“We can’t eradicate plastic overnight. But we can start replacing it, one jute bag or bamboo brush at a time.”
She dreams of a world where sustainability is not a choice but a way of life—accessible, stylish, and deeply responsible.
Join the movement for a greener, cleaner tomorrow—one choice at a time.
